LCL PDP Trials for 2021-22 season
REGISTRATION FOR OUR TRIALS CLOSES AT 5PM ON FRIDAY 14TH MAY. PLEASE REGISTER BEFORE THIS TIME SO THAT WE CAN PREPARE FOR THE TRIAL ON MONDAY 17TH MAY.
As the current season draws to a close our attention turns to completing our squads for the coming season, 2021 – 22. As such we will be holding trials for any girls that would like to join the club. We will be running teams in the following age groups next season:
- Under 12
- Under 14
- Under 16
- Under 18
Additionally, the London City Lionesses will be running a Development team and a first-team.
We published an Expression of Interest form via our social media channels in April and we have had a tremendous response with over 100 applicants over the four age groups.
We have now set the dates for the trials as follows:
Under 12’s
We are running open training sessions currently for this age group where you will be invited to train with the current squad at 2 training sessions and then invited back for a final session should you meet the criteria we are using to identify your potential.
This process has already commenced but its not too late to register for the open training sessions. Simply complete the form via the link at the bottom of this post and we will be in touch.
Under 14, Under 16 and Under 18 trials
Trials for these age groups are taking place starting on the Monday 17th May as follows:
- Under 14s
- Session 1 – 17th May 2021 at 6 – 7:30pm at the Abbey School in Faversham (3G pitch)
- Session 2 – 19th May 2021 at 6 – 7:15pm at K Sports in Aylesford (Grass Pitch)
- Under 16s and Under 18s
- Session 1 – 17th May 2021 at 7:30 – 9:00pm at the Abbey School in Faversham (3G pitch)
- Session 2 – 19th May 2021 at 7:15 – 8:30pm at K Sports in Aylesford (Grass Pitch)
We will be assessing the girls against the FA four quadrant model of Technical/Tactical, Physical, Psychological and Social and the coaches and the wider London City Lionesses team will be evaluating the girls on the day.

If you have previously registered you should have received the full details via the email you provided. Please check your Junk/Spam folder if you have not heard from us and you registered as we have had some reports of our emails ending up in that folder.
Due to covid protocols, we have to know who is coming to the trials so if you have registered you will have received the trials information. We would ask you to confirm your attendance by emailing chairperson@kentgirlselitefc.co.uk or replying to the email you have received by 5 pm on Friday 14th May 2021.
